Our Exam services

British Council Thailand in Bangkok and Chiang Mai is an authorised examinations centre for a wide range of English and Academic examinations.
We administer all stages of the process on behalf of the UK's major examination's boards, including registration, hosting, forwarding the papers to the UK, advising candidates of results, and presenting certificates.

IELTS

The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is recognised as the preferred language requirement by institutes and higher education worldwide.

IGCSE

The IGCSE Exams are offered by Cambridge International Examinations, University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate (UCLES) and can be taken at the British Council in Thailand.

OTHER EXAMS

The British Council is a centre for the Biomedical Admissions Test (BMAT), English Literature Admissions Test (ELAT), Sixth Term Mathematics Exam Paper (STEP), and Thinking Skills Assessment (TSA)

EXAMINATION INVIGILATION SERVICE

British Council Thailand provides invigilation services for students registered with UK schools, colleges and universities, who need to take examinations but are not able to travel to the UK.
