British Council LearnEnglish Test your Level

This useful tool helps you to find your general level in a fun and informal way. The test will help you understand your general level from Beginner to Upper Intermediate.

DIALANG

It is a free downloadable self-assessment tool designed to indicate your level to the Common European Framework and is endorsed by the Council of Europe.

The Common European Framework (CEF) is used world-wide to provide information on levels competency in European languages. You can refer to the Global Scale and Self-assessment checklists to see what you can do in English and help this guide you to choose the right exam.

BBC Learning English Exams Skills pages

These pages offer easy to follow instructions on improving general skills in test taking as well as focussing on specific skills areas (reading, writing, listening and speaking).

A book to prepare for the IELTS exam. Challenge your knowledge with this complete practice of all the four skills, includes a CD with examples of listening and speaking. It also comes with an answer key for you to know your score.

Created by Cambridge ESOL and in colaboration with the British Council, the new books TOP TIPS for IELTS can give you detailed tips, support, and general advice for you to have a better performance in your exam.

There are two versions, one focused only for the academic module and the other for those who wish to take the general module.
