The Centre offers two main types of self-access packages:  General English, IELTS Preparation and Personal and Professional Development (PPD).

General English package

Membership is open to:

• Employees of governmental, international agencies and joint ventures at managerial level
• Postgraduate students
• Graduate students (4th year)
• BC projects’ team members

The membership is valid for 6 months. UK programme returnees will be given free membership.

What you get from the General English package

			placement test upon request
			needs analysis and a customised study plan
			a set of English language learning materials for 2 months
			1- 2 supplementary materials for 2 months
			2 videotapes or 1 video and 1 DVD for 1 week
			1 audio-book for 2 months
			1 periodical (a newspaper or magazine) for 1 week
			1 CD for 1 week
			free access to electronic resources collection and the English language learning websites
			counselling sessions
			Learner Training seminars
			Conversation and Readers’ Clubs for different levels once a month

To become a member of General English Package you should do the following:

			pay the fee
			provide proof of your employment or, (if you are a student, a letter from the Dean’s office confirming your registration, our application form and a student's card)
			show your passport.
			provide two photos
			deposit your driving licence, or diploma, or a military card, or a university test record book

The IELTS Preparation package

Membership is open to:

• Employees of governmental, international agencies and joint ventures at managerial level
• Postgraduate students
• Graduate students (4th year)
• IELTS candidates registered for the test

What you get from the IELTS Preparation package

			placement test upon request
			needs analysis and a customised study plan
			3 items of IELTS materials (preparation guides, course books and practice tests) with audio materials for 1 month
			1 fiction book for 1 month
			1 audio book for 1 month
			1 video tape or 1 DVD for 1 week
			1 periodical (a newspaper or magazine) for 1 week
			1 CD for 1 week
			free access to electronic resources collection and the English language learning websites
			counselling sessions
			Learner Training seminars
			Conversation and Readers’ Clubs once a month

To become a member of IELTS Preparation Package you should

-provide proof of your employment

(if you are a postgraduate student a letter from the Dean’s office confirming your registration and your application form)

-show your passport to get the materials

-bring 2 photos

-pay the fee for the chosen package

-deposit your driving licence, or diploma, or a military card, or a university test record book
