What's on offer?

Here you can access an extensive collection of the best UK English language resources as well as materials for personal and professional development including books, periodicals, audio materials, videos, CDs, DVDs and online resources. Our team is available to offer help and advice on the most appropriate study material and learning.

If you would like to identify your starting level of English, you can take a short English language placement test. You can also access the best English learning and teaching websites and various electronic databases. If you are planning to take a UK exam, such as IELTS, there is a range of material to help you prepare. In addition, we will respond to all your enquiries about Education in the UK and all aspects of contemporary UK life. For those who enjoy reading fiction in English and would like to discuss their reading experiences, we have monthly meeting of the Readers' Club. We also run Conversation Club and sessions on Learner Autonomy.

Customer briefings

We invite you to attend our briefings and sessions, which we hope will help you get the most of what we have to offer. We also run regular briefings on Education in the UK, the IELTS exam and information resources. Recently we have started to run Conversation Clubs twice a month and we launched series of workshops for Professional Development. Please check the notice board in the Learning Centre or contact us for events schedule.

Keep yourself up-to-date

We help keep you up-to-date with our virtual library: a collection of electronic databases and online resources. This includes links to UK periodicals and useful sites, where you can connect with the latest news and views.

Learn in comfort

Our Centre has been designed to provide a relaxed and comfortable learning environment. Special areas let you learn in peace, interact with the latest software, or mix with other members. What's more, our staff are always on hand to help.

Take home films, books and audio recordings

Our Learning Centre offers a great range of videos, DVDs and audio books to boost your everyday English.

Opening hours

We are open from 11.00 to 19.00 (Monday  - Thursday )

Please be informed that Fridays and Saturdays are Personal and Professional Development days.
