Learning Centre runs Climate Change week to support British Council Regional International Climate Champions project. The purpose of the event is raising awareness of learners of Climate change problems.

During the week Learning Centre invites International Climate Change champions to run sessions, organises three competitions and displays new resources on Climate problems.

Do you want to WIN a free Learning Centre membership or a MACMILLAN Dictionary?

Then we encourage you to take in the following competitions:

1.The Best Climate Change Logo and Picture

Design a picture and/or a slogan that raises awareness of the Climate Change problems and win a MACMILLAN Dictionary. If your design is made in electronic format, send it to dilya.tadjibaeva@britishcouncil.org or submit a hard copy to the Learning Centre staff.

The winning logos will be used for International Climate Champions project promotional materials by the British Council.

Do not forget to leave your LC membership card number and your full name.

2. The best photo on “Climate Change” competition

Submit to the LC staff your printed 10x15 cm size best Climate Change photos that raise awareness of the Climate Change issues in Central Asian region and win free Learning Centre membership for 6 months.

3. Do you want to become one of the Climate Champions?

Take part in the Climate Change quiz and WIN a Longman English Dictionary!

  You can also hand your printed answers in to any of the Learning Centre staff.
