Transfer, refunds and appeals Orange lozenge left

For exam date transfer or cancellation you need to contact the Exams Department within the five-week period prior to the test date. Any request after this period will not be considered. The only exemptions that can be accepted are:

  • Illness
  • Loss or bereavement – death of a close family member
  • Hardship/trauma –victim of crime, victim of a traffic

In this case, the candidates must complete the Request for Refund or Test date Transfer Form and attach the appropriate documentation and/or evidence no later than five working days after the test date. Acceptable documents may include a medical certificate from a qualified medical practitioner, a death certificate, or a police report. The Administrator will advise the candidate within one week of lodging the application whether or not their request has been approved.

Cancellation

Candidates who cancel their registration more than five weeks before of the test date, will receive a full refund of full fee minus an administrative fee. The refund can be collected from the British Council Uzbekistan office in cash in Uzbek soum. Please submit the Request for Refund or Test date Transfer Form  to the Exams Department.

Transfer

Candidates who transfer their test date more than five weeks before the selected test date will be charged an administrative fee.

For both exam cancellation and transfer you need to fill in the Request for Refund or Test date Transfer Form (pdf, 143kb) and either submit it to our office or send via e-mail.

The payment slip along with the Request for Refund or Test date Transfer Form  should be submitted or e-mailed to the Exams Department.  

Appeal

The appeal process is possible within six weeks of the test date.If you wish to appeal your test results you need to pay the appeal fee  to our bank account . The appeal fee is fully reimbursed only if your score is changed.

The payment slip along with the IELTS (EOR) (Adobe PDF, 376 KB) and original copy of your Test Report Form should be submitted  to the Exams Department within 4 weeks after results have been issued. Please note that the appeal process may take up to eight weeks.

Extra copies of TRF

You are eligible for up to 5 copies of your test results, which can be send to a receiving university/college free of charge if request is submitted within 4 weeks after your exam date. If more than 4 weeks have passed you will need to pay a small administrative fee. Candidates who wish to send extra copies of their test results should complete Extra TRF request form  and e-mail it to the Exams Department .
