TeachingEnglish Learning Technologies for the Classroom is a teacher development course that introduces teachers of English to the main aspects of using learning technologies in the classroom.

TeachingEnglish CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) Essentials is for primary and secondary teachers who teach either English or other curricular subjects in English.

TKT 1 (Teaching Knowledge Test)
The TKT Essentials course provides an introduction to English language teaching methodology for teachers who want to develop expertise in Communicative Language Teaching (CLT). It is suitable for both beginning teachers who need to develop knowledge of key concepts in ELT and experienced teachers who want to update their methodology. The course covers the key concepts in the theory of communicative language teaching. It provides a comprehensive introduction to knowledge for the teacher about language learners and actual classroom practice. The course lasts 10 weeks.

Module 1 - Language and background to language learning and teaching (18 units/27 hours)

Level of English required: B1+

TKT 2,3 (Teaching Knowledge Test)
The TKT Essentials course provides an introduction to English language teaching methodology for teachers who want to develop expertise in Communicative Language Teaching (CLT). TeachingEnglish Primary Essentials is a development course for teachers of English teaching seven to 11-year-olds.

TeachingEnglish COMMUNICATIVE ASSESSMENT (CAC)
This is a 20-hour online self-access course for teachers s of English interested in exploring new approaches to assessment and testing. Divided into ten units, it contains useful resources, exercises, discussion activities and opportunities for teachers to design assessment tasks that are relevant to their own teaching context. CAC is mapped to the CPD Framework and is best positioned at the newly qualified level in terms of competency level. It is a general course suitable for teachers working in the primary, secondary, tertiary or the private ELT sector. The course aims are to help teachers identify some of the key areas associated with Communicative Language Teaching, focus on assessment and testing within the Communicative Approach to English teaching, link assessment theory directly to the design of testing and assessment materials, focus on testing each language skill as well as integrating skills testing. In order to complete the course and to print out a certificate, participants must complete and pass all the course tasks in the ten units.
