Croeso! Contemporary Welsh culture springs to life at this summer’s Smithsonian Folklife Festival in Washington DC. The Wales Smithsonian program highlights include a zero-carbon conference as well as an array of arts events including film and music.

Increase your employability by getting a "green" degree. President Obama recently created a task force on green jobs - and UK universities offer a variety of undergraduate and graduate environmental degrees, ranging from policy and business to engineering and design.
