ZeroCarbonCity.

ZeroCarbonCity is a global campaign to raise awareness and stimulate debate about climate change and the energy challenges facing the world’s greatest cities, reinforcing the UK's commitment to tackling climate change.

At the core of our ZeroCarbonCity initiative is the photographic exhibit touring the globe titled NorthSouthEastWest produced in collaboration with The Climate Group.

Ten of the world's top photographers from Magnum Photos were commissioned to capture images from ten diverse countries around the world to illustrate not only the impact of climate change, but also the solutions which are being implemented to reduce carbon emissions in communities north, south, east and west.

The ZeroCarbonCity program also aims to foster debate worldwide through a series of city debates in each country visited.  It has partnered with OpenDemocracy to offer a global online debate with supporting materials by scientists, technologists, city planners and policy makers.
