These newly introduced scholarships give 51 Americans seeking full-time master’s degrees £2000 towards their studies. Awards are available for both full time taught and research graduate programs at all Scottish Universities. The scholarships are funded by Education UK Scotland in partnership with Scottish universities.

WHO CAN APPLY?

The scholarships are open to individuals who meet the following requirements:

• US Nationals
• Apply to full-time masters degrees at any of Scotland's 17 universities in either a taught or research program
• Did not complete their undergraduate degree at a Scottish university (study abroad students are however eligible)
• Apply by July 1, 2008 for 2008/09 programs
  

WHERE CAN I STUDY?

Scholarships are available for study at any of the 17 Scottish universities.

WHAT DOES THE SCHOLARSHIP COVER?

The scholarship is for £2000 towards the cost of tuition fees.

Please note that the scholarship application deadline for 2008/09 programs is July 1, 2008.

On completion of a graduate degree in Scotland, graduates are eligible for the Fresh Talent Scotland Initiative. This scheme allows international students to work in Scotland for two years after graduation.
