Choosing a university

You want to get your undergraduate or graduate degree from a college or university in England, Northern Ireland, Scotland or Wales but don't know which university to choose? The first step in your search is to find the British universities that offer the program you want!

Our searchable Program Database lists all available full undergraduate and graduate programs or foundation courses in the UK. You can search by subject area, degree level or location and then go straight to course (program) and university descriptions.

For example, if you are interested in studying Art History in London at the Masters level, just follow these easy steps:

  1. Type in "Art History" in the "Subject Keyword" box
  2. Select "Graduate" from the drop-down "Type of Course" menu
  3. Select "London" from the drop-down "Location" menu
  4. Hit the red "Search" button
  5. Then browse through all of the universities that offer that type of course!
