Teachers’ International Professional Development (TIPD)

Funded by the Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) and managed by the British Council, the TIPD program enables teachers from England to experience one week at schools in another country. The groups, of 10 to 15 teachers each, look at best and alternative practice in a chosen theme relevant to their schools. Up to fifteen groups visit the USA each year in April/May, October, and February.

If you work at an American school and are interested in hosting teachers from England, please send an email to info@us.britishcouncil.org with the subject line “TIPD.”
