In the UK

The National Recognition Information Centre provides advice on the comparable UK level of qualifications gained in the US or other foreign countries.  There is no charge to individual inquirers seeking advice by phone, but there is an administration fee charged for a formal assessment. In the US

For holders of foreign qualifications (or degrees) in the US, a number of organizations offer evaluation services for educational institutions, employers and individuals. Information on locating a credential evaluation service is available from the US Network for Education Information. You can also consult the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services.

Before sending any materials for evaluation, you should establish that the final report issued by the evaluating organization will be recognized by the institution or employer for whom the evaluation is being conducted. Fees vary according to the type and purpose of the report and the speed with which it is required.
