Funding for non-degree study abroad

To meet immigration requirements, you must prove that you can fund your tuition and living expenses.

The cost of study abroad varies by program type. For instance, if you're going on an exchange your US university tuition will probably cover the costs, but if you're signing up with a third-party provider you will likely have to pay an extra fee.

No matter what type of program you're doing, you need to contact the program administrators for full cost details.

We can give advice on funding options such as working, scholarships and federal aid.

If you need to research financial aid options for UK study, you should start by talking with your university’s study abroad and financial aid officers. They can tell you if your current aid package will carry over to the UK and if they have any special funding options for their students.
