ABOUT ARTS PRESENTERS
The Arts Presenters annual conference is the largest North American booking and information conference for the performing arts community. Every year thousands of arts professionals, presenters and artists travel to New York City for a members-only gathering.

ABOUT ISPA
Two times a year, international arts leaders convene to exchange and develop ideas, strengthen and nurture relationships and rejuvenate their passion for the arts. ISPA Congresses link individuals from different backgrounds, cultures, disciplines, sectors and aesthetics with the common goal of celebrating their interconnectedness and advancing the field of the performing arts on a global scale.

ABOUT UNDER THE RADAR
Now in its seventh year, the Under the Radar Festival at The Public Theater embraces the vitality of contemporary performance on an international scale. This year's diverse program features performers ranging from emerging talents to contemporary masters in the field.

It’s a performing arts bonanza in New York this January as we highlight the best of contemporary British creativity and innovation at the International Society for the Performing Arts annual Congress, the Association of Performing Arts Presenters annual membership conference and the Under the Radar Festival.

PUBLIC PERFORMANCES

UK performance group Clod Ensemble brings their piece Must to New York City this January at Under the Radar.  Featured as a ‘Plat du Jour’ during the British Council Edinburgh Showcase in 2009, in Must medicine, theater and music collide in a collaboration between Clod Ensemble and legendary performer Peggy Shaw. Inspired by images from Gulliver’s Travels, The Elephant Man and everyday experiences of the medical profession, Must takes a hard stare at the assumptions people make about each others' bodies.

We're delighted British artist Andrew Dawson’s Space Panorama (a documentary of the Apollo 11 moon landing) is also being featured at this year's Under the Radar Festival.
New folk music from Scotland features in the Northern Realms showcase during Arts Presenters, organized in part by the Scottish Arts Council. Several free concerts on Monday January 11 take place at the Scandinavia House - RSVP details are online.

MEETINGS FOR PERFORMING ARTS PROFESSIONALS

Are you in New York this January? Email us to set up a meeting during APAP or ISPA.

Last year Arts Presenters members joined us for a forward-looking series of conversations at the annual conference to explore environmental sustainability within the performing arts community. Members can attend follow-up sessions this year including ‘Greening and the Business of Presenting’ and ‘Artists and Climate Change,’ featuring speakers who recently participated in the first American TippingPoint. See the conference schedule online for more information.

In 2010 we’re continuing our work in sustainability and the arts through a partnership with the International Society for the Performing Arts. The Arts & Environment Session during their annual Congress features the expertise of both Sir Peter Crane and Julie’s Bicycle, a UK music industry-led organization committed to tackling climate change through research, advocacy and practical action in the cultural sector. Nicholas Hytner, Director of the National Theatre in London gives the keynote address at the Congress this year.

Want to network with others interested in the intersection of environment and the arts? Join past TippingPoint participants for informal conversations during the Under the Radar Festival:
