Grants-to-Artists

SPRING 2011 UPDATE

The British Council is in discussion with Arts Council England for an expanded grant scheme to support young UK artists invited to exhibit their work internationally - this scheme would be jointly managed by both organisations. Negotiations will take place from April 2011-March 2012, but in the meantime, we regret that the Grants to Artists Scheme is suspended.

PREVIOUS PROGRAM DETAILS

Our only formal arts grant program, the Grants-to-Artists scheme offers small sums to emerging UK visual artists who are invited to exhibit their work in museum or gallery spaces in the US.
