American Composers Forum
One of the largest and most enterprising composer-service organizations in the US. It functions as the hub of a continuously expanding network of composers, performers, supporters and consumers of new music. Its work falls into (and often straddles) numerous genres: orchestral and chamber music, ethnic, opera and music theater, jazz and improvisation, electronic and electro-acoustic music and others.

The American Music Center
The national service organization in the US devoted exclusively to the greater field of contemporary American music; provides information services, publications, workshops, networking groups and a library of scores and recordings.

Folk Music & Beyond
This site lists resources for listeners of folk and roots music courtesy of Folk Music & Beyond, San Francisco Public Radio KALW 91.7 FM's show of folk and traditional music. National Council for Traditional Arts
