Live Art

The term "live art" frames a diverse array of new performance cultures. Situated outside, within, and in-between the segregated artforms, live art embraces new forms, new ideas, and new media ranging from Forced Entertainment's theater, to Franko B's body installations to Desperate Optimists' web-based projects. This is an exciting and challenging area of UK arts culture, and we’ve found a few avenues for you to explore to find out more.
