In September 2010, humanitarian Greg Mortenson hosted an impassioned talk about his work in Afghanistan and intersecting themes from The Great Game in a special discussion event at the Shakespeare Theatre, presented in partnership with the British Council.
Mortenson is the co-author of The New York Times best-selling books Stones into Schools and Three Cups of Tea: One Man’s Mission to Promote Peace, One School At A Time, which highlight his work with education and development in remote Pakistan and Afghanistan.
