UK author Nadeem Aslam was the latest British Council UK Writer-in-Residence in Washington DC. In spring 2008 Nadeem visited George Washington University to lecture, teach, give public readings and interact with students and communities.

Nadeem joined other contemporary British authors in the British Council's UK Writer-in-Residence program, an ongoing literature initiative at major American universities. Read more about the program in our archive.
