UK WRITER-IN-RESIDENCE
UNIVERSITY OF IOWA: INTERNATIONAL WRITING PROGRAM
SEPTEMBER 1 - OCTOBER 10, 2009

Novelist and singer-songwriter Fflur Dafydd was the latest UK artist to participate in the British Council UK Writer-in-Residence Program. As part of the British Council’s inaugural partnership with the University of Iowa’s International Writing Program this fall, Fflur shared her work, met other writers from around the world and contributed to public events in Iowa and Oregon.

Fflur joins other contemporary British artists as part of an ongoing literature initiative at major American universities. Read more about the UK Writer-in-Residence Program in our special feature.
