Student E-News - September 2006

           September 2006

So you think the UK is all beefeaters and Beckham? Not so fast! The UK is a thriving,
mulicultural, cosmopolitan nation. While it may be small in size, it's amazingly diverse -
in its landscape, in its language (Cymraeg, anyone?), and in its citizens.

People of all ethnicities call England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales home. And
international students like you play a vital role in making the UK the multicultural society
           that it is today.

Want to learn more? Order a free copy of RealUK, our flip-card brochure that captures
the diversity of the United Kingdom in its many and varied incarnations.  Or check out our
global Common Ground exhibition documenting the Muslim experience in Britain, South East
           Asia and the Middle East.

up Brit-hop and hip-hop in a multi-stage musical chain letter.
An original track by Blacktronica founder Charlie Dark
launched a transatlantic game of "Telephone," with music
passing from artist to artist back and forth across the
Atlantic. Check out the project online, then sign up for
Sound Swag, our new quarterly e-zine featuring the best
new music news, albums, festivals and reviews from
           throughtout the UK.
