Science Journalism

We develop greater mutual understanding between scientists and journalists by building bridges to connect these two groups. We aim to motivate journalists to write about scientific achievements and its impact on everyday life and to train scientists to write in an exciting and understandable way.

Science Festival
British Association Festival of Science

Science Festivals in the UK attract the best scientists and science communicators from all over Europe to discuss the latest research, debate controversial topics and attend informative presentations on various science topics. British Council plans to initiate a similar festival in Ukraine with the support of the National Academy of Sciences.

Paradox Shows

Paradox Show is an educational mini-project for children full of experiments and visual demonstrations, team work and quizzes uncovering the properties of water and air, strength of gravity and effects of light. Join us to solve spectacular mysteries and scientific paradoxes of physics.

Café Scientifique

Come to Cafe Scientifique, a return to the 'salon' format of public discussion. In Cafe Scientifique you can hear the hottest news, views and gossip about the latest movements and ideas in Science and technology. Cafe Scientifique is a unique chance to discuss the topics that interest you most with leading British specialists, and do it in the informal, relaxed and accessible world of cafe society.

Science writing and photo competitions

Participate in the annual writing and photo competitions to showcase achievements and innovations in science, to illustrate unusual and beautiful science. Discover science and win prizes!!!
