The UK's Department for International Development (DFID) is changing the nature of its development partnership with Ukraine. From the end of March 2008 DFID will close its bilateral programme in Ukraine, but will continue to support Ukraine's economic and social development through its membership of multilateral organisations such as the European Union, the World Bank, the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the United Nations.
As a result of this change in direction DFID's Office in the British Embassy in Kyiv will close on 31 March 2008, but in order for people to access information about the projects it has supported since 1991 this website provides details of links to various organisations and will direct people to relevant websites containing analytical documents and reports.
The British Council is only hosting this page. It should, therefore, be noted that the information and website addresses may become out of date over time and it will not be possible to up-date these.
