In order to register for the IELTS exam you should:
Enter your personal data into the online registration system. Please read the paragraphs Your rights, Declaration, IELTS Disclaimer and British Council Privacy Policy very carefully before starting the registration. Please follow step-by-step instructions on how to complete IELTS registration on-line. When you finish the process print out IELTS Application Summary and sign it. As soon as you complete the application process you will get a confirmation e-mail with your candidate details and a unique IELTS reference number.
Pay the examination fee according to the instructions given in the registration system no later than 5 working days after registering for the exam. Please bring the print out of the confirmation e-mail with you. The fee should be paid at the British Council cash desk in Kyiv or to our representative in Odesa, Donetsk, Lviv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk or Zaporizhzhya. Please check the working hours. Note: Candidates can pay the exam fee in Zaporizhzhya only for the examinations taking place in that city.
Submit in person while making payment or send by regular or courier mail within 5 days after registering for the exam the following documents:

2 colour photographs 4x5 cm no older than 6 months. Your face should be on a light background. You should look straight ahead. Candidates must not wear glasses in the photographs they submit for IELTS registration. Please state your name and the examination date on the back of your photographs. |

a clear and legible photocopy of each of your two IDs which you will have with you on the day of the exam (e.g. foreign and Ukrainian national passports). |

An organization may want to enter a group of candidates. Please contact the British Council examination department about such entries prior to the registration date. However, each candidate form that group will need to register on-line individually.
If you missed the registration deadline you still have a chance to take the exam on the date of your choice. Please e-mail British Council examinations department at ielts@britishcouncil.org.ua to find out about the availability of places. You may be put on the waiting list for a certain test date. Please note that a waiting list is meant for candidates who are ready to replace a drop-out from the main list at short notice. It does not guarantee a place in the main list because it is created only for a certain date and does not cover other test dates. If not contacted, a candidate on the waiting list should register for the next available test date.
A candidate who has special needs should apply for special examination arrangements providing a medical statement signed by a medical practitioner at least three months before the test.
To cancel your exam you need to fill in the Transfer/Refund Form.
If you cancel your exam more than 5 weeks before the test, you will be refunded 75% of the exam fee.
If you cancel your exam within the five-week period of the test date you will receive no refund.
To transfer the date of the exam you need to fill in the Transfer/Refund Form.
If your application for transfer is approved you will have to pay additional 387.00 UAH administrative fee.
If you are absent on the day of the exam without prior notice you will get no refund. If you provide the original of a medical certificate proving that your absence has been affected by serious illness or other serious cause within 5 working days of the exam you will be refunded 75% of the exam fee.
