Cambridge ESOL General exams are the world’s leading range of certificates for learners of English.

Each year they are taken by over 2 million people, in 130 countries. They can help you gain entrance to a university or college, improve your job prospects and measure your progress in English.

Key English Test
KET exam at level A2 recognises your ability to cope with everyday written and spoken communications at a basic level needed when travelling in English speaking countries.
Preliminary English Test
PET is an exam at level B1. It is for people who can use everyday written and spoken English at an intermediate level, and it is accepted by many employers.
First Certificate in English
FCE is an exam at level B2 for people who can use everyday written and spoken English at an upper-intermediate level. It is ideal for work or study purposes.
Certificate in Advanced English
CAE is an exam for advanced users of English at level C1. It is aimed at people who can use written and spoken English for most professional and social purposes.
Certificate of Proficiency in English
CPE is most advanced exam at level C2. At this stage, learners are approaching a standard of English similar to that of an educated native speaker.
