Cambridge ESOL exams are increasingly available to be taken as a computer-based test. The computer-based test is another way of taking the exams – it does not replace the paper and pen test. Other than the method of completing them, the exams are exactly the same.
Paper-based and computer-based examinations both lead to the same internationally recognised Cambridge ESOL certificate. Candidates can register for the computer-based exam as little as a week before taking it, they have faster access to results, with scores available to be seen online just three weeks after the test.
The following exams are available as a computer-based test: KET, KET for Schools, PET, PET for Schools, FCE, CAE, BEC Preliminary, BEC Vantage, BEC Higher, TKT (Modules1–3).
Our Teaching Centre course can help you to get prepared for FCE, CAE or CPE. It covers 20 hours of studies and offers you an opportunity to practice.
Please also see the list of schools in Ukraine that offer exams preparation courses.
Use learner resources on Cambridge ESOL website to prepare to your exam.
Cambridge ESOL provides each candidate via the examination centre with:
a statement of entry which includes the registration number of a candidate and the exams timetable via the examination centre |
a Notice to Candidates which summarises the exams regulations all candidates are subject to during the examinations. |
After receiving these documents, you should check if your name or surname is spelt correctly in your statement of entry and inform the examination centre about any mistake in order to amend the surname or name.
Please remember your number under which you have been registered for the examination. Familiarise yourself with the examinations regulations.
Written and spoken parts of the examination may not take place on the same day or at the same location. The examination centre provides each candidate or school with a letter which includes details of the examination venue, timetable and examination day requirements.
