Programme of cooperation with young playwrights

November 2012 - the fourth project session took place in Kyiv (Ukraine)

Four playwrights were selected for the readings by the Royal Court team during this stage. Readings were the part of the "Actual Playwright week" event and took place on the second stage of the Ivan Franko theatre.

  • «Mother War» by Data Tavadze, director David Gabunia;
  • «Twatted» by Yevgen Markovskyy, director Stanislav Zhyrkov;
  • «The President Has Come To See You» by Lasha Bugadze, director Simon Godwin;
  • «And I Don’t Care How You’re Doing Anymore» by Oksana Savchenko, director Caroline Steinbeis.
