About the UBAA
The Uganda British Alumni Association, is a network for Ugandans who studied in the UK and British citizens who studied in Uganda. UBAA was established in 2001 under the auspices of the British Council.

UBAA’s objectives are to promote, maintain and facilitate personal, professional and cultural relations between members in Uganda and in the U.K.

Membership

You can join as a Full Member, Associate Member or Honorary Member.

Why join UBAA? You will have the opportunity to:

network with other members both from Uganda and from the UK
meet and make new friends
share your experiences with other members and also learn from theirs
exchange ideas and share similar interests through a variety of activities
be eligible to include your personal details including major competencies in a comprehensive WHO’S WHO Directory.

At their Annual General Meeting held on Friday 29 August 2008, the following members were elected to the Executive Committee for the year 2008/09:

Registration and renewals
Please remember to register or renew your membership so that you access new benefits like the recently introduced UK visa fast tracking facility for UBAA Members.

New and current members should register and renew their membership at the British Council offices. Members interested in renewing their membership should contact ubaa@britishcouncil.or.ug or samson.kaddu@britishcouncil.or.ug
