TENDER INVITATION TO PROVIDE AIR TICKETING SERVICES

British Council is inviting proposals from competent travel agents for the provision of air ticketing services.

Specific requirements are as follows:

			Flight reservations and Airline ticketing, as and when requested, to be delivered to British Council Offices in Kampala or as per arrangement on request. Tickets to be delivered at least a week prior to the date of travel
			The provision of 3 alternative travel itinerary options for a specific request. Note that British Council will generally prefer Economy class on most routes. For long distances exceeding 5 hours, in a limited number of instances, Business Class will be preferred.
			Service fee charges are not expected unless it can be demonstrated that specific airlines are not remunerating the service provider.

Interested travel agencies should submit two sealed copies of their tender documents in plain envelopes marked “Tender for the provision of airline ticketing services” to:

Deadline:

The tenders should arrive no later than 1600hrs on Tuesday 22 July 2008. Tenders not meeting the deadline will not be evaluated.
