NETWORKING

The aim of our networking events is to exchange ideas, share knowledge, experience and best practice, network with specialists from around the world and to build communities of interest among policy-makers and professionals in the area of governance and society.
With this aim, we organise professional meetings using our videoconference facilities, support seminars and conferences by bringing British specialists to Turkey, and encourage professionals from Turkey to attend British Council Seminars in the UK.

The networking events we are supporting in 2006-07 are as follows:

Child Rights and Cartoons Workshop
Symposium on Child Abuse and Neglect
Ankara Child Rights Platform Meeting
Study Visit to the UK for the General Directorate of Family and Social  Research
Seminar on “The Network Effect: Connecting Europe’s Next Generation Leaders”
