We work with both government and civil society in Turkey in order to promote debate, develop knowledge and skills in the area of governance and society. We do this through a range of activities including training events, networking opportunities and cross-sectoral projects and we seek to share the experience of the United Kingdom as a valued partner in addressing key reform agendas.

Our work is based on partnerships; we are not principally a funding organisation. We facilitate the development of bilateral relations between the UK and Turkey and do this on a project basis. We initiate project activities according to our planning priorities and corporate strategy, and we plan them in discussion with Turkish and UK partners.
