What is Challenge Europe?

British Council launched European element of its global programme along with other 15 countries across Europe in 2008.

British Council Turkey joined the programme in the second year of the programme.  Every country selected 15 young advocates, whose ages between 16 and 35.

Turkish Climate Advocates worked together with experts for 7 months to generate project ideas and develope methods to create interest and awareness on Climate Change.

Read about the Turkish Climate Advocates here.

Throughout the programme, we are actively partnered with a number of organizations across Europe spanning all sectors; including the corporate, non-governmental, environmental and academic worlds. Through these partnerships, we supported the Climate Advocates and offered them access to some of the best minds in Europe through established networks of expert groups and individuals: climate change experts, policy makers, business people, entrepreneurs, environmental groups, and centers of excellence.
