Climate Change is in Turkey...

PHOTO COMPETITION

Climate Advocates from Challenge Europe Project organised a photo competition called Capture Climate Change

The competition was open to participants of ages 18 and over who were willing to show effects of Climate Change in Turkey through photographs that they take

Capture Climate Change competition winners were announced and we thank all the contesters who have participated in our photo competition.

The jury has selected the 3 finalists in 2 categories and 20 photographs to be exhibited.

270 amateur and professional photographers from all over Turkey have participated in the competition with 590 photos and the best photographs were selected in 2 categories, Standard and Manipulated.

Upon this evaluation the 1st. prize winner in “Standard” category is Salih Ağır, 2nd. prize winner is Tayfun Keçecioğlu and 3rd prize winner is ibrahim Ayşil.

1st. prize winner in “Manipulated” category is Noah Arjoman, 2nd. prize winner is Melih Sular and 3rd prize winner is Volkan Zengin.

PRESS LAUNCH

İklim Değişikliğini Yakala (Capture Climate Change) Photo Competition press launch took place on 11 June 2010 in Istanbul, Bahcesehir University.

The video comprises interviews with jury members at the launch breakfast meeting.
