WHAT IS IELTS?

Are you planning to study or train abroad? Are you applying to an institution and need to prove your level of English? Do you need to raise your standard in English? Then we can help you with an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) exam.

IELTS assesses the language ability of candidates who need to study or work where English is the language of communication.
The IELTS exam is jointly managed by British Council (BC), University of Cambridge English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and The International Development Programme of Australian Universities (IDP).
IELTS exams in Turkey take place regularly in Istanbul, Ankara & Izmir. However, all administration is centralised from our Istanbul office only.
IELTS is recognised by universities and employers in many countries, including Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK and the USA. An increasing number of universities and employers in Turkey recognize IELTS, including a number of Turkish Universities such as Boğaziçi, Bilkent, Bilgi, Yeditepe and Turkish employers such as THY, Yapı Kredi and Akbank. It is also recognised by immigration authorities and other government agencies.

WHAT TYPE OF IELTS SHOULD YOU TAKE?

You can take either the Academic or General Training Reading and Writing modules. Choose the Academic Reading and Writing module if you are planning to undertake academic study in a higher education institution.

If you are planning to undertake non-academic training or apply for immigration to Australia, Canada or New Zealand, we recommend you take the General Training Reading and Writing modules.
