In the previous year, over 2 million candidates in more than 130 countries have taken IELTS  and  IELTS has been the world’s most preferred English language testing system. IELTS is now being recognised worldwide and this is the keypoint of success for IELTS .

Over 7000 universities, vocational schools and institutes in the United Kingdom, the USA, Australia, Canada and many more countries including Turkey recognise IELTS results for measuring proficiency in  English language. Only in the USA over 3000 universities and institutes recognise IELTS resulst.

In Turkey, after YOK’s declaration in 2009, all universities acknowledge IELTS for their undergraduate, graduate and doctorate programs.

IELTS is recognised by all of the universities in Turkey. Universities hold the right to determine their own minimal point for acceptance  and candidates are responsible to get in contact with the relevant department to obtain the necessary information depending on their studies..
