Please note that this online results service is only available 13 days after the test date. The system will not display results older than 28 days. We kindly request you to fill out a short customer feedback questionnaire before proceeding to your results.
HOW TO APPLY?
Applying for an IELTS exam is easy, just follow the simple steps below.

1. Find out which IELTS module you need to take

a. Academic Training
b. General Training

2. Check test dates and registration deadlines

Registrations are accepted 6 weeks prior to the test date
Late registration is possible on certain occasions. Candidates must contact the exams office in order to confirm late registration possibilities.

Applications for late registration are subjected to 'Late Registration Fee' if your applications are accomodated

Late Registration Fee: £30

3. Deposit your IELTS Test Fee into British Council Bank Account:

IELTS test fee is £115 for 2009 Exams

IELTS test fee is £120 for 2010 Exams

Important Notice for candidates registering for IELTS Examination from another country

In order to have £115 of IELTS Examination fee transferred safely, please make sure that you have all the bank details stated above.
Please note that you are responsible for all the extra transfer and exchange fees. Therefore, payments less than £115 will not be accepted
The Exams Department, Istanbul has all the rights to refuse your application if the procedures are not followed as stated above

4. Fill in the IELTS online application on our web page and submit the form with your uploaded picture and fill in the original-Application form to be submitted on the exam day

Your registration will be finalized once you fill in the IELTS online application form. Submit the form with your uploaded picture.
You must also fill-out the Original Application form before the exam day and bring it with you to the exam venua on the exam day. The first 4 pages of this form will be collected from you before the examination.

After completing your online IELTS application please make sure you download and read the “Notice To Candidates” document before coming to the exam venue.

Your candidate number and confirmation of your registration will be sent to your email address in 3-4 days. Please contact us by calling 0212 355 5657 if you do not receive an email in the given time.

Venue and Time details of your exam will be announced on our website 10 days prior to the exam date. You will be able to track your test time detials by simply typing your candidate number on the 'Venue-Time Details' page.

SO PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT THE PICTURE YOU SEND IS TAKEN ACCORDING TO THE REGULATIONS DESCRIBED BELOW:

Size
The size of your picture should not be more than 10KB
Please upload a bmp, jpg, jpeg or a png file.

Head Position
Person being photographed must directly face the camera.
Head of the person should not be tilted up, down, or to the side.
Head of the person should cover about 50% of the area of the photograph.

Background
Person being photographed should be in front of a neutral, light-coloured background.
Dark or patterned backgrounds are not acceptable.

Focus
Photograph must be in focus
Decorative Items
Photographs in which the person is being photographed is wearing sunglasses or other items that detract from the face will not be accepted
