BRITISH COUNCIL VERY YOUNG LEARNER TEACHING CERTIFICATE

The Very Young Learner Teaching Certificate (VYL Cert) aims to highlight critical considerations in the teaching of EFL to very young learners aged 3 to 6 years old and to expose you to a range of practical techniques for teaching very young learners effectively in the end of 20 hours.

All the sessions have an underlying belief that very young learners have a unique way of learning language and respond to classroom activities in different ways from other age groups and that teaching very young learners requires a range of different skills.

Who can participate?
If you are an English language teacher who wants ;

			to develop a more critical awareness of teaching English to very young learners (VYLs).
			to encourage a reflective approach to teaching English to very young learners (VYLs).
			to raise awareness and motivation of new approaches to teaching English to very young learners (VYLs).
			to consolidate and extend teachers’ current knowledge of teaching English to very young learners (VYLs), you can join out VYL Cert classes.
