Book Your Ticket to the IATEFL Conference 2010

Join our TeachingEnglish ELT SharePoint web quest and win a trip to attend the 44th IATEFL Conference at the Harrogate International Centre, UK from 7th to 11th April, 2010.

Calling all teachers of English across Turkey!

We are sending two teachers to the IATEFL Conference again in 2010. The winners will have their conference fee, flights and connecting travel, hotel accommodation, meals and subsistence paid for by the British Council in Turkey!

Join our ELT SharePoint webquest and win the chance to attend the Conference!

To enter the webquest, all you have to do is to join the British Council ELT SharePoint (Click here to see how you can join the ELT SharePoint) and submit the 5 answers to the web quest questions to the British Council by 17:30 on 1 March 2010.

IMPORTANT

The winning draw will be made on 2 March 2010 by the British Council
Web quest entries which are sent after the deadline will not be accepted
Our web quest is for all teachers of English and senior students who study ELT at universities across Turkey

British Council is responsible only for the following expenses:

  1. Travelling expenses (Including flight and train/bus tickets from the participants’ hometown to the Conference Centre)
  2. Accommodation (from 7th to 12th April, 2010)
  3. Transportation allowance (Return tickets to the Airport in the UK)
  4. Daily allowance (44.05 per day which is 264.3 GBP for 6 days)
  5. Conference Fee paid for by the British Council

The participants who win a place in the IATEFL Conference will cover the following expenses:

  1. Passport (You should have a valid passport for 6 months)
  2. Visa application cost
  3. Transportation allowance from/to Airport in Turkey
