The British Council Global Classroom Language Course (CLC) aims to help you develop your accuracy, fluency and confidence in using English in the EFL classroom and your as reflective practitioners in the end of 25 hours.
Our CLC programme builds on your own level of English and classroom practice. It seeks to help you articulate their understanding of your work as English teachers and to encourage you to take the steps necessary to develop as effective models of EFL use in your context.
Our Global TKT (Teaching Knowledge Test) Essentials Course aims to provide teachers with an introduction to the basic theory, associated with a communicative approach to English Language Teaching. The course structure and content is based on the syllabus of the Cambridge ESOL Teaching Knowledge Test (TKT). Our workshops are very practical in nature and involve you in discussion and sharing your ideas and experience of teaching English.
The course aims to expose you to a range of practical techniques for exploiting learning technologies in the EFL classroom, to encourage you to reflect on the pedagogy behind the use of learning technologies and to raise awareness and enhance the motivation of you as English language teachers to use learning technologies in the classroom. You will learn how to use the web as a resource, how to evaluate and select websites, how to set up school link projects and much more.
This course aims to help you as teachers of English to reflect on and develop your skills in teaching speaking and to consolidate your skills as reflective practitioners in the speaking classroom in the end of 25 hours.
Our workshops are very practical in nature and involve viewing the techniques being used by experienced teachers in the classroom. The programme encourages you to reflect on your teaching speaking skills and explore new ways of looking at what happens in the EFL speaking classroom with a critical eye.
