		We would like to bring a UK speaker to our conference/seminar and we would like support for their transport and/or accommodation. Can you provide this?

	UK speakers are brought to Turkey under the ‘Science Partnership Programme’. For this reason, please look at the ‘Science Partnership Programme’ for further details.

		I have been invited to attend a conference/seminar in the UK. Do you provide financial support for travel or accommodation costs?

	Speakers are sent to the UK under the ‘Science Partnership Programme’. For this reason, please look at the ‘Science Partnership Programme’ for further details.

		I have been invited to conduct research at a university in the UK. Do you provide financial support for travel and/or living costs? Does the British Council provide scholarships for short term research or doctorates?

	The Science programme does not provide support for any kind of research. Please refer to the ‘Science Partnership Programme’.

		I would like to invite a colleague from a UK university that I have contacts with to teach for 2 or 3 days at my university. Can the British Council support this?

	The Science programme does not provide support for any kind of teaching exchange. Please refer to the ‘Science Partnership Programme’

		I took part in the British Council’s ‘Visits and Links’ programme in the 90s. Do your short visit programmes still exist?

	We have replaced the ‘Visits and Links’ programme with the ‘Science Partnership Programme’. For more information on this please go to the ‘Science Partnership Programme’ web pages.

		We are planning to hold a conference in Turkey. Can you provide sponsorship?

	The Science programme soes not provide sponsorship for conferences. Please refer to the ‘Science Partnership Programme’
