Call for playwrights: The British Council is offering playwrights in Turkey the opportunity to work with one of the UK’s leading national theatre companies for a week-long intensive writing workshop in Istanbul, in Autumn 2013.

British Council is running an artist in residency programme in Diyarbakır between 5 May and 11 June. British video artist Cressida Kocienski is undertaking the programme and working with local artists and the wider community.

Turkey is the Market Focus country for The London Book Fair 2013. The Market Focus Cultural Programme brought the best in contemporary Turkish writing and publishing to the UK.
