Band scores are recorded on a Test Report Form. This shows overall ability as well as performance in listening, reading, writing and speaking bands range from 1 through to 9 an expert user. The institutions to which you are applying will normally stipulate which band they require.
The results are released by registered mail following candidates choice 13 days after the test date.
Results will not be given by telephone, fax or email. The official copy will be sent directly to the educational institution of your choice. as specified on your application.
The IELTS test costs TD 195. You may pay in cash or by cheque in Tunisian Dinars made payable to British Council
Cancellations must be sent in writing within 5 weeks notice for refund. For each refund an admin fee of TD 35
You will need to come in person to the British Council to fill in a refund/postponement form will be charged to the candidate.
To claim a refund, you will need to bring with you your payment of receipt. If you do not show up on your designated test day you will be counted as absent. You will not be able to claim a refund in these circumstances.
