A Council of Europe's Waystage level B1, this offers an upper-intermediate language qualification for those wishing to work or study in an English-speaking country or organisation. FCE is the most widely taken exam and has the most widespread recognition. It is taken for employment and study purposes.

Exam components and dates:

Reading: 1 hour (morning)

Writing: 1 hour and 20 minutes (morning)

Use of English: 45 minutes (afternoon)

Listening: approximately 40 minutes (afternoon)

Speaking: 14 minutes

The speaking and writing tests are usually on different dates. You will receive a schedule with your speaking appointment one month before the examination.

Location: British Council Tunis or a location nearby

Exam dates: 08 December 2009

Registration deadlines: 20 October 2009

Fees: 200 TND
