British Council Tunisia

Skills for Employability is a British Council programme that addresses the demand for skills in a global economy so that national educational and training systems are better able to respond to labour market demands and learner needs.

Skills for Employability focuses on building strong relationships with industry and employers, governments and training providers, using the UK’s expertise on standards, innovation and creativity in the field of skills training where the UK is a market leader.

Policy Dialogue
We run local, regional and global seminars, workshops and forums which tackle core issues in skills reform in a global economy. Our partners are ministries, skills agencies, employers and educational institutions.
Enterprise and Technology award
We promote and develop entrepreneurial and employability skills through international competitions and challenges involving young people, employers and teachers
Skills development partnerships
We facilitate and support international partnerships for colleges and skills agencies.

GOING GLOBAL 2013

Going Global is British Council’s flagship initiative which attracts over 1000 delegates from more than 70 countries, making it the largest international education conference in the UK.

This year's conference theme is Changing Education for a Changing World. The conference will explore the trends and implications; explore models for change drawing on case studies from across the world; examine the barriers; and deliver frameworks for action across a number of areas including global partnerships and policy and leadership.
