"Policy Dialogue"

Policy dialogues program aims at bringing together professionals and decision-makers from the vocational education training sector in order to discuss and debate the development of the vocational training programme in Tunisia in response to the increased focus on careers guidance and quality assurance of technical and skills education.

Career Guidance                                                   

We will run a seminar for relevant professionals interested in learning about careers guidance in the Skills sector in the UK.

Small Business Development Initiative          
This initiative will target young entrepreneurs in Tunisia and will consist of capacity building and real life experience to equip young entrepreneurs with the skills and knowledge to develop themselves as the next generation of business people.
Quality Assurance                                                

A major UK study tour will take place from 5 until 8 December 2011 for relevant professionals and policy makers who are interested in learning about quality assurance's strategy, good practice, achievements and challenges for Quality Assurance of TVET with a focus on England.

Changing Perceptions of Skills

The emphasis of the conferences will be on sharing experiences, lessons learned and innovative ideas with a view to identifying constructive approaches to tackling the low status of skills in societies across the world.
Building Effective Employer Engagement        
We will deliver a conference in February 2012 on the theme of Building Effective Employer Engagement' as well as follow-up activities to support the implementation of the conference recommendations. The conference will bring together Tunisian, UK and international expertise and will engage employers, policy makers, agencies, educational leaders and young people in Tunisia.
