The "Enterprise Award” Challenge

The "Enterprise Award” Challenge is organised by the British Council in collaboration with the Tunisian Agency for Vocational Training in the context of the program" skills for employability".

The program aims to support young people in vocational training institutions to develop their skills for employability.

The "Enterprise Award” Challenge aims to raise the status of vocational skills in Tunisia, encourage and develop business communication skills, planning and building the capacity of students to make positive social change as well as be involved in the civil society. Social enterprises provide innovative solutions to society’s pressing problems through a different approach. Especially those Entrepreneurs are supposed to develop the ability to reconcile the economic approach with social objectives.

Enterprise Award Challenge 2011
A new Enterprise Award Challenge was launched in November The Challenge  involved around 300 young people who competed in teams of up to five. It consisted of a number of local competitions in December 2011, an interim competition in January 2012 followed by a national final in February 2012.
Enterprise Award Challenge 2012

About 200 students belonging to 10 vocational training centres took part in the various stages of the "Enterprise Award Challenge 2011". Only one team won the the prize of the best Social enterprise project.

Enterprise Award Challenge 2013
A new Enterprise Award Challenge will be launched in January 2013. The Challenge will involve educational centres from all Tunisia. It will as usual consist of a number of local competitions, an interim competition followed by a national final in late January.
