We are revising our knowledge and information service provision to enable us to meet the educational needs, as well as the international aspirations, of many more thousands of customers.
In practical terms this means that, from 15 October we are phasing out some of our current Knowledge and Learning Centre services in Tunis including public lending facilities. Our Knowledge and Learning Centre users, who are mostly English language learners and teachers, will now be served through improved delivery methods which are not solely premises based, enabling us to provide these services to many more people and to a higher quality standard than we currently do. In the last two years we have invested in making resources available to students and teachers online and are working on a range of projects to improve access and use of these materials not only in Tunis but across Tunisia.
Students of our Teaching Centre will continue to have access to reference materials and computers on site. We will continue to offer services and support to candidates for English Language Exams. We will do this by providing a range of learner support materials, both physical and online.
We will also continue to deal with general enquiries about the UK through email, phone and fax.
