                 ENTERPRISE AWARD
                               June 2011

The "Enterprise Award” Challenge is organized by the British Council in collaboration with the Tunisian Agency for Vocational Training in the context of the program" skills for employability".

The program aims to support young people in vocational training institutions to develop their skills for employability.

The "Enterprise Award” Challenge aims to raise the status of vocational skills in Tunisia, encourage and develop business communication skills, planning and building the capacity of students to make positive social change as well as be involved in the civil society. Social enterprises provide innovative solutions to society’s pressing problems through a different approach. Especially those Entrepreneurs are supposed to develop the ability to reconcile the economic approach with social objectives.

About 200 students aged between 16 and 25 years old, belonging to 10 vocational training centres took parts in the various stages of the competition. Only one team will win the prize of the best Social enterprise project.

The final of the inaugural "Enterprise Award” Challenge took place on Monday, 20th June 2011 in the Centre for Training in Electronics Sector in Den Den".

The six qualified projects to the final round:

CSFH Mannouba: Project description and Presentation: "Sahara Green Shelter".

CSFB Ben Arous: Presentation "Oriental Tourism".

CSFE Den Den :Project description and presentation "Creation Eco-Tourisme".

CSFM Borj Cedria: :Project description and presentation "Bio-Tours".

CSFT El Khadra: Project description and presentation "Tourisme Traditionnel".

*THE WINNER : CSFMT Gammarth: Project description and presentation "Mobile Camping Services".
