As part of its 75th anniversary celebration, the British Council was honoured to have Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva give a special talk on 'International Education for Future Global Citizens and Leaders' at the Education UK Exhibition 2009 on Sunday 8 February at Centara Grand Central World.

As an Eton and Oxford University alumnus, the PM shared stories about his years in the UK with an audience of over 1,000. He talked about the benefits he had gained from studying in the UK and also emphasised the important role of international education in creating future global citizens and leaders.
